Prerequisites
- Add the Microsoft Defender Auto App to your Library
Download the Defender Onboarding Package
Login to Defender Portal
Login to your Defender portal.
Navigate to Onboarding Settings
Navigate to Settings > Endpoints > Onboarding.
Select macOS Operating System
Select macOS as the operating system.
Select Deployment Method
Select Mobile Device Management as the deployment method.
Download Onboarding Package
Select Download onboarding package (WindowsDefenderATPOnboardingPackage.zip).
Prepare the Onboarding Package
Extract the Package
Extract WindowsDefenderATPOnboardingPackage.zip you downloaded.
Locate the Configuration File
Locate the WindowsDefenderATPOnboarding.plist downloaded as part of your Onboarding Package.
Change File Extension
Change file extension from .plist to .mobileconfig.
Add a Custom Profile
To add this Library Item to your Iru Endpoint Library, follow the steps outlined in the Library Overview article.
Name the Custom Profile
Give the new Custom Profile a descriptive name.
Assign to Blueprints or Assignment Maps
Upload Configuration File
Upload the WindowsDefenderATPOnboarding.mobileconfig you created earlier.
Save Configuration
Click Save to complete the Custom Profile setup.
