This guide applies to Apple TV
Iru Endpoint can only manage tvOS devices if they are assigned to Iru Endpoint in your Apple Business or Apple School Manager account. If your Apple TV is not listed there, follow these steps.
Enrollment occurs during the initial setup of an Apple TV. Devices that are already past the initial setup screen must be erased to enroll.

Assign Apple TV Devices to Iru Endpoint

Access Apple Business or Apple School Manager

Sign in to Apple Business or Apple School Manager.

Open Inventory

Select the Devices tab, then select Inventory in the left sidebar. Select the filter button.

Filter by Apple TV

Select Device Type, then select the checkbox for each Apple TV you want to include. Select Search.

Assign Device Management

Select one Apple TV, then select Assign Device Management. If more than one Apple TV is selected, select the Assign button next to Assign Device Management.

Select the device management service

Select the correct device management service from the Device Management Service dropdown.

Continue Assignment

Select Continue.

Confirm Assignment

Select Confirm to change the device management service this device is assigned to.

Set Default Device Assignment

Open the Devices tab

In Apple Business or Apple School Manager, select the Devices tab at the top middle of the page.

Open Management Services

In the left sidebar, select Management Services.

Open Default Device Assignment

Under Management Services, select Automatically assign devices to your preferred device management service.

Set the default device management service for Apple TV

On the Default Device Assignment page, for Apple TV, select the Iru Endpoint device management service.

Confirm Apple TV Devices in Iru Endpoint

Navigate to Enrollment

In the Iru Endpoint Web App, select Enrollment in the left-hand navigation.

Open the Automated Device Enrollment tab

On the Enrollment page, select the Automated Device Enrollment tab.

Verify Device Assignment

Confirm that you see the Apple TV device(s) that you assigned from Apple Business or Apple School Manager. If you don’t see the Apple TV device(s), select the Fetch devices button.
