About Answers & Questionnaires
The Answers and Questionnaires tabs provide powerful tools for managing compliance knowledge and automating questionnaire responses. The Answers tab serves as a centralized knowledge base for frequently asked security and compliance questions, while the Questionnaires tab allows you to upload and process customer questionnaires using AI automation.How It Works

Answers Library Overview
The Answers tab is a centralized knowledge base for frequently asked security/compliance questions. Create answers once, reuse them internally, and optionally publish selected answers to the public Trust Center.- Stores Question, Answer, Comments, Categories, Owner, Date Added, Visibility
- Add entries one-by-one or upload in bulk via CSV template
- Edit via the ⋮ (three-dot) menu; toggle Show in Trust Center to publish
- Add support links (e.g., Privacy Policy URL) to any answer

Fill in Question, Answer, optional Comments, Categories, Owner, Support Links, and toggle Show in Trust Center (optional)

Questionnaires Management
Questionnaires Overview
The Questionnaires tab allows you to manage customer and vendor security questionnaires in one central location. You can upload questionnaires received from external parties, assign them to accounts, and use Iru AI to automatically generate answers based on your existing Answers library and Trust Center Artifacts.Uploading Questionnaires
Select Account
Select an account. If the questionnaire is from an internal request, choose your internal company account. If it is from a customer, select the customer account so the completed questionnaire can later be delivered back to them
Attach File
Attach the questionnaire file by dragging and dropping or browsing your system. Accepted file types are CSV, XLSX, DOCX, and PDF
Select Artifacts
The upload screen will display any available artifacts already marked as Show in Trust Center so you can select them as supporting sources
AI Processing and Review
Auto-Answering
It searches your Answers library and selected Artifacts to match and populate relevant answers
Edit Answers
You can edit any answer manually by clicking the question and opening the edit details screen
Approval and Delivery
Review All Questions
Before a questionnaire can be finalized, every question must either have an answer or be marked as not a question
Approve Answers
You can approve answers individually or click Approve All once you have reviewed the entire questionnaire
View Original
At any time, click View Original at the top of the page to download the questionnaire file that was originally uploaded
Deliver Completed Questionnaire
Once all questions are approved, the questionnaire can be marked as complete
Support Tips
- CSV upload fails: Verify headers, data types (
TRUE/FALSE), and required columns - Not visible publicly: Ensure Show in Trust Center is on; give the portal a moment to refresh
- Broken links: Use full
https://URLs - Findability: Use specific, consistent Categories
- Auto-answers missing: Verify that questions align with existing entries in the Answers library or that relevant Artifacts are marked Show in Trust Center
- Cannot approve questionnaire: Confirm that every question has either an answer or is marked not a question
- Customer doesn’t receive email: Check that the correct Account is assigned and includes a valid contact email
The AI system learns from your answers library and improves over time. Regular maintenance and updates to your answers will result in better automated responses.
