About Disabling Weekly Emails

Weekly status emails provide regular updates about your Iru Endpoint environment, but you can disable these notifications if you prefer to receive information through other channels or want to reduce email volume.

How It Works

Disabling weekly emails is a user-specific preference that affects only your account. Once disabled, you will stop receiving weekly status emails starting the following week. This setting can be easily changed at any time through your user profile preferences.
These changes only affect your specific user. You will no longer receive the weekly emails starting the following week. However, you can always edit these preferences later if you would like to start receiving them again.

Considerations

  • User-Specific Setting: This preference only affects your individual account and does not impact other users in your organization
  • Email Frequency: Weekly emails provide regular updates about system status, device counts, and important notifications
  • Alternative Information Sources: Consider other ways to stay informed about your Iru Endpoint environment if you disable weekly emails
  • Re-enabling Emails: You can easily re-enable weekly emails at any time through the same user profile settings
  • Notification Preferences: Review other notification settings to ensure you don’t miss important alerts or updates
  • Team Communication: Coordinate with your team about email preferences to ensure everyone stays informed about system status
  • Administrative Override: Some organizations may have policies about email notifications that override individual user preferences
  • Email Volume Management: Disabling weekly emails can help reduce inbox clutter while maintaining access to critical notifications
  • Regular Review: Periodically review your notification preferences to ensure they align with your current information needs
  • Backup Information Sources: Ensure you have alternative ways to access weekly status information if needed for reporting or monitoring purposes
