# レガシーシステム拡張機能のアラート

### macOS Catalina バージョン 10.15.4 での変更点

**macOS 10.15.4** 以降、Apple は、Mac に非推奨の KPI（Kernel Programming Interfaces）を使用する Kernel Extension がある場合に、エンドユーザーにアラートを表示するようになりました。

### このアラートを防ぐ

ユーザーにこの通知が表示されないようにするには、Iru で**関連するすべての Kernel Extension を許可**する必要があります。

### Kernel Extension とは

基本的に、KEXT（Kernel Extension）は、開発者がカーネルの機能を拡張できるコードのバンドルです。これらの Kernel Extension は、KPI（Kernel Programming Interfaces）と呼ばれるプログラミングインターフェイスを使用します。カーネルはシステム上のすべてを管理しており、すべての KEXT にはカーネル権限が与えられているため、これらの拡張機能は非常に強力です。この高いレベルの権限により、これらの拡張機能は「カーネルパニック」と呼ばれる、macOS カーネルで発生する回復不能でシステムの再起動を必要とするエラーを引き起こす可能性があります。

### System Extension とは

KEXT と同様に、System Extension はオペレーティングシステムの機能を拡張します。ただし、KEXT とは異なり、System Extension はカーネルの外部のユーザーランド（ユーザー空間）で実行されるため、開発者がカーネルでコーディングする際に直面していた多くの制限（その多くは次のセクションで説明します）から解放されます。KEXT 開発からのこの大きな転換により、macOS の信頼性が劇的に向上し、回復不能なエラーの可能性がほぼなくなります。macOS Catalina で導入された System Extension は、特定の種類の Kernel Extension と KPI を置き換えます。System Extension に相当するものがある次の KPI を 1 つ以上使用する Kernel Extension は、前述のアラートを引き起こします。
